iPod

one of the things the doctor told us is that though Emi can have visitors she advises against it to reduce the risk of Emi catching something that might do a lot of damage.

this has been hard for the whole family to accept. but on the bright side, Emi has an iPod and there is wi-fi in the oncology ward. This will allow us to stay in touch with and see Emi via Skype and FaceTime. We hope that her iPod will help her stay connected to the "outside world", though she's hoping to get a netbook or a tablet for Christmas.
